HAPPY 18th ANNIVERSARY, JENNIFER J!!!

Wow - Jennifer J and I got married ON THE SAME DAY!  That's AWESOME!  I don't know about you, but I got married in Pennsylvania...and it was 95 degrees!  I asked my father to go to the church - twice - and make sure the air conditioning was on!

Hope you're having a great day.  We're headed out to dinner...with the kids.  LOL  Can't always get a sitter.  Oh well...I'm having enough fun reading about Tania and Shura to make up for it! :)

  4. Awwwwwwwww, shucks!! Thanks!! We eloped to Banff, Alberta, Canada.......what rebels, eh??? Ha. Everyone told us how we'd regret it. We NEVER have. In fact, I get a big ol' grin everytime I think about running away with my man. Love him more, AND like him more today than ever.

We spent the morning at our youngest's soccer practice.......then went to a movie.......alone! Came home......and I may have read TSG for 3 or 4 hours in bed....ooops. Then had my big sis and her fam. over for a bonfire. Exciting, I know. Ha.

Yeah, I hear ya about the babysitting problem. We pretty much had to wait until our oldest was of age to babysit. That does EVENTUALLY happen!

Hope you guys had a fantastic day! 18 years seems like a loooooong time. Especially considering I was 20 when I got married. yikes.

  6. I'm 71% through and I begging to feel sad that it will all be over soon... I mean the books. The story. What will I do!? Will the withdrawal be worse than with Jamie and Claire? I think I will have to re-read it all right away.

Is there really a movie being made? Not that it will even come close to the books, but it might be something to look forward to.

  7. If you're wrapping up The Summer Garden, definitely order any copy of Tatiana's Table you can find for a decent price! I have mine on the way from an Australian seller and can't wait....

  8. Sirena, is that the only way to get Tatiana's Table? I'm still only halfway through TSG (I'll get right back into it tonight after chat), but now I feel like I want to slow down and savor it before it's all over. :-(

  9. You know what, I don't actually know what the best way is! A ton of commenters have mentioned how they got their copy - scored a good deal on Amazon, went to abe books, etc... I found one via google on Alibris (I think?) in the $30 range, not bad. Tsg has so many great food moments (cabbage-free I guess) that I'm psyched to relive them! My best advice is to read slowly :-) right?
